Adar Falan (12 May 2006) grew up in the Netherlands in a family with Bosnian roots. His parents fled to the Netherlands during the Balkan civil war in the 1990s, where they rebuilt their lives and started over. Growing up in this environment shaped Adar’s mindset, where resilience, discipline and hard work became central values in both his life and his sporting journey.

Adar started playing rugby at the age of eight at Amstelveense Rugby Club. From a young age he developed into a technically skilled and tactically intelligent player. During his youth career he played in several national finals and became U16 national champion with ARC. His talent led him to progress through every national age-grade team, representing the Netherlands at U17, U18 and U20 level.

In recent years Adar has made the transition into senior rugby. He gained experience in the Dutch Erste Klasse and was selected for the Dutch DELTA team competing in the Rugby Europe Super Cup. Currently he plays for RFC Haarlem in the Ereklasse, the highest level of rugby in the Netherlands, where he continues to develop in a competitive high-performance environment.

In January 2026 Adar spent a month training with the DHL Stormers in South Africa, one of the top professional rugby teams in the world. During this period he trained alongside world-class players, including athletes who have won the Rugby World Cup. This experience gave him valuable insight into elite professional rugby and strengthened his ambition to compete at the highest level.

With experience in the U18 and U20 European Championships and exposure to senior international rugby structures, Adar continues to pursue opportunities to develop in ambitious professional environments and take the next step in his rugby career.
